Killybegs Fishery Harbour Centre will receive over €11 million in funding through the 2025 Fishery Harbour Centre and Coastal Infrastructure Development Programme. This investment will modernize state-owned Fishery Harbour Centres, support local authorities, and contribute to the sustainability and economic vitality of coastal communities. The funding will support capital projects and maintenance works at various locations, including Killybegs, Ros an Mhíl, An Daingean, Castletownbere, Dunmore East and Howth.
